Nursery Class Teacher job summary

The children, staff and Governing Board are seeking to appoint a highly motivated, inspirational and enthusiastic teacher (M1-M6) with a passion for early years education to join our outstanding dedicated team of staff. The post is part-time with the allocated days being Monday to Wednesday.

We are looking for a teacher who:

Can demonstrate excellent pedagogical knowledge of the EYFS and the Teacher Standards.

Is committed to engaging and inspiring our children, has high expectations and the ability to make a real difference - building on what children already know and can do.

Make a positive impact.

Shows flexibility, commitment and excellent interpersonal skills in order to work collaboratively as a valued member of the school team.

Is a fantastic role model to the team of experienced Teaching Assistants and leads learning and the team in the Nursery classroom.

Is dynamic in their ability to nurture, inspire and challenge all pupils to grow in confidence and make exceptional progress.

Will celebrate the uniqueness of every child and our inclusive ethos.

Provides a positive learning environment that stimulates creativity, curiosity, investigation, reasoning and problem-solving.

Provides an environment that respect the rights of the child.

Has high expectations of yourself, our staff and our children.

Has an understanding of the importance of working in partnership with parents.

Ensures that the school's Safeguarding and Child Protection policy and procedures are followed at all times.
