What skills and experience we're looking for

We are seeking to appoint a caring and kind Learning Support Professional with British Sign Language Level 2 and SEN Knowledge / Expertise. The right candidates should have:

a good level of literacy and numeracy skills (GCSE English and Maths grade 4 or grade C and above)

a British Sign Language Level 2 Qualification and SEN Knowledge and Expertise

an appropriate Level 3 (e.g Diploma) or equivalent qualification

knowledge of the new Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum, Development Matters / Birth to 5 Matters

experience of working within an Early Years setting with children age 3-5 years

a clear understanding of the roles and responsibilities to supporting children’s learning within the Early Years

an ability to work both independently and effectively within a team

a drive to enable all children to learn and flourish

a commitment to support the school’s ethos, Christian values and high expectations for all.

Bengeworth Multi Academy Trust was previously a stand-alone academy and formed a new MAT on 1st February 2018. Bretforton Village School then joined the new MAT and Bengeworth has since provided leadership, development and support. The two schools work very closely together.

Bengeworth CE Academy is on two sites situated east of the River Avon. The Reception and Year 1 Setting is on Burford Road and the Year 2 and KS2 Setting is a quarter of a mile away at the end of Kings Road.

Bretforton Village School is just four miles away on the outskirts of Evesham.
