Nursery Support Staff required
Working Hours: Wednesday and Friday, 7.45am to 6:15pm (20 hours per week), term time, 185 days (37 weeks) per year
This is a part-time, permanent role.
Actual Annual Salary: £11,393 (SWAN Grade 3.3, FTE £25,133)

Golden Owls Day Nursery is located within the grounds of Goldsworth Primary School and is a well-established, oversubscribed nursery. We provide full day care during term time for 37 weeks of the year and are open Monday to Friday from 8:00am to 6:00pm. We are registered to look after 28 children aged 2-4 years old.
We are looking to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic Nursery Support Staff member to join our experienced and friendly team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for early childhood education and commitment to fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment. You will work alongside the nursery team to ensure every child receives high quality care, is kept safe, and enjoys rich, stimulating play experiences tailored to their individual needs. We are looking for someone who has:
- Experience working in a nursery or with children aged 0-5 is desirable
- A basic understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
- A commitment to ensuring that all our children can be the best they can be
- A genuine passion and enthusiasm for working with young children
- A positive, patient and nurturing approach towards children
- The ability to work flexibly as part of a team
- Good oral and written communication skills
