What skills and experience we're looking for

Are you passionate about teaching very young children and would like the opportunity to teach in a Nursery class attached to a school?

If you are not sure if Nursery is for you, come and have a look round.

We are one of the few schools in Hampshire that has a maintained Nursery attached.

We are looking to appoint a Nursery teacher (maternity cover), with qualifications and a strength in Early Years practice, who has high expectations for all pupils, to join our very friendly and professional team to start on Monday 24th February 2025.

  • Have the ability to model and promote high quality teaching and learning?
  • Create a positive learning environment where all children can succeed?
  • Have the confidence to have fun with the curriculum and take risks?

  • Have the flexibility to work as part of a successful Nursery team and whole school team?

We would support applications from teachers early in their career or more experienced teachers but we are not able to consider an ECT at this time.
