What skills and experience we're looking for

The Pride Academy is seeking a passionate and dedicated Nurture Teacher to join our welcoming school community. In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to make a lasting impact on the lives of children with additional needs, delivering tailored lessons that support and inspire every child to achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

To raise standards of student progress and achievement

To be accountable for student progress and development within the Transition Department

To be a role model of professionalism and good practice

To ensure the provision of an appropriately broad, balanced, relevant, and differentiated curriculum for students in the Transition Department

Key Requirements:

Hold a recognised full teaching qualification such as QTS or be willing to undergo teacher training in line with current regulations

A clear understanding of the features of high-quality teaching and learning at KS3 and 4

Experience of working with students with social, emotional and mental health needs.

Knowledge and experience of the national curriculum in own specialist area
