Salary: Grade 12 Pay Point Range 31-34, actual starting salary of £15,602, ( NHS Agenda for Band 6 Pay Equivalent)

Hours: 15 hours per week and 40 weeks per year ( Initially)

Contract Type: Permanent

Working Pattern: Two days per week

In-TACT Services, part of the Discovery Trust family, is seeking a passionate and motivated Occupational Therapist to join our growing multidisciplinary team on a part-time, 3-year fixed-term basis.

Working across our schools and settings, you'll support children and young people to develop the skills, confidence and independence they need to succeed both in and beyond the classroom. This is an exciting opportunity to shape a new role, collaborate with dedicated professionals, and make a meaningful impact every day.

Key Responsibilities

  • To develop an equitable Occupational Therapy offer across the Trust and build schools’ knowledge and capacity.
  • Access and support pupils with a range of physical, sensory and developmental needs
  • Work closely with education colleagues, families and other professionals
  • Deliver practical, creative interventions that help children reach their full potential
  • Contribute to a truly inclusive, child-centred approach

What We’re Looking For

Skills & Knowledge:

  • A recognised and approved degree level qualification in Occupational Therapy.
  • Up to date UK registrations with HCPC and RCOT and adhere to RCOT & HCPC Professional and Clinical Standards and Code of Conduct as well as National and Local Clinical Guidelines.
  • A passion for improving outcomes for children and young people
  • Ability to build positive relationships and works collaboratively
