Your Role in Building Brighter Futures
As a Receptionist/Administration Support at Four Acres Academy, you will play a key role in delivering Futura’s mission of “Building the brightest future for all, enabling every individual to flourish”. As Receptionist/Administration Support, you will:
Provide a welcoming and professional reception service, greeting all visitors and ensuring safeguarding protocols are followed.
Manage visitor sign-in, issue badges, and maintain a secure and safe school environment.
Undertake a range of office duties including filing, photocopying, and handling mail.
Support staff with administration tasks as required.
Ensure effective handling of incoming and outgoing mail.
Adhere to safeguarding protocols including cross-referencing the Single Central Record (SCR) when required.
Provide general administrative support to ensure the smooth running of the school office.
What You’ll Bring to Futura
Qualifications:
Good standard of education, including GCSE passes in Maths and English at grade C/4 or above (essential).
Good ICT skills (desirable).
Business Administration or equivalent qualifications (desirable).
Experience:
Experience working as part of a team (essential).
Experience in a front-of-house position (desirable).
Experience working with young people in a learning environment (desirable).
Skills & Behaviors:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and multitask.
Good level of IT skills including Outlook and MS Office.
Integrity, reliability and a collaborative team approach.
