What skills and experience we're looking for
Be part of our new chapter.
September marks the beginning of an exciting new era as Little Heaton Primary School becomes Rhodes Green CE Primary School. With a new name, new identity and a clear vision for the future, we are looking for someone special to become the welcoming face of our school.
This is far more than an administration role.
As our Office Administrator, you will often be the very first person families, visitors and children meet. Your smile, warmth and professionalism will help create the caring, nurturing environment that Rhodes Green is becoming known for.
We are looking for someone who thrives in a busy environment, enjoys building positive relationships and takes pride in ensuring everything behind the scenes runs smoothly. No two days are ever the same, so you'll need excellent organisation, a calm approach under pressure and a genuine commitment to putting children first.
We’re looking for someone who:
- is friendly, approachable and professional
- has excellent administration and organisational skills
- communicates confidently with parents, staff and visitors
- enjoys working as part of a supportive team
- is confident using IT systems and willing to learn new ones
- has excellent attention to detail
- can maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times
- shares our commitment to safeguarding and the wellbeing of every child.
What the school offers its staff
In return, we offer:
- the opportunity to be part of an exciting new chapter in the school's journey
- a welcoming, supportive and ambitious staff team
- children who make us proud every single day
- opportunities for professional development through Cranmer Education Trust
- a school where relationships, kindness and high expectations sit at the heart of everything we do.
Working for Rhodes Green means that you would be part of the Cranmer Education Trust, a successful, growing Trust which prides itself on looking after its people, offering a high level of support and access to expertise. This is an excellent time to join the team, as we develop collaborative structures and systems to enhance and support our growing family of schools.
Alongside Rhodes Green Primary, the Trust is made up of primary and secondary schools across Oldham and Rochdale. The Trust also incorporates a teacher training school and the East Manchester Teaching Hub and a MFL hub, which support the training and development of new and existing teachers across the North West of England.
