What skills and experience we're looking for

We have an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic individual to join our supportive, creative and dynamic team as an Office Assistant at St Joseph’s Primary School.

The successful applicants will:

  • Provide general clerical and administrative support to the school.

  • Handle incoming calls and inquiries in a professional manner.

  • Maintain accurate records, files, documentation and data.

  • Assist in the preparation of reports, letters, and notices.

  • Help manage office supplies and inventory.

  • Interact courteously with pupils, parents, staff, and visitors.

  • Track, monitor and feedback on absence trends.

Qualifications and requirements:

  • Minimum of GCSE/equivalent in English and mathematics.

  • Prior experience in a school or office environment is an advantage.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).

  • Ability to work collaboratively and independently.

  • A friendly, approachable, organised and professional demeanor.

  • Excellent communication skills.

The St John Paul II Multi Academy is a highly successful Catholic Multi Academy encompassing nine Primary Schools and two Secondary Schools. Our schools are located in the northern area of Birmingham.
