Role: Office Administrator

Salary: Grade 4: £25,583 - £25,989 (FTE) / £13,798 - £14,334 (Actual) - 22 hours per week

Contract type: Permanent, 22 hours per week (Wed 8-4, Thurs 8-4 and Fri 8-3.30), 41 weeks per year (term time plus three weeks)

Reporting to: Office Manager

Start date: January 2026 (or as soon as possible)

About the Role

We seek an organised, hardworking Office Administrator to join our successful secondary academy school of 600 students within a diverse catchment area. The successful candidate will provide a professional administrative service as part of the school office and assist in the day-to-day smooth running of the school office including aspects of administrative organisation and reception duties.

Your Responsibilities

Please refer to the job description attached.

The role will include administering first aid and therefore the successful candidate will be required to complete an Emergency Paediatric First Aid qualification.

A candidate with some previous experience in an administration role who is passionate to work in a school environment

A strong communicator, able to deal with staff, parents and students efficiently and effectively

An upbeat, positive and friendly demeanour

An extremely organised individual with an ability to multitask in a fast-paced school office environment.
