Office Adminstrator job summary
Evendons is an inclusive and diverse school, with the children at the heart of everything we do. We have highly qualified, experienced and dedicated staff who ensure that learning is adapted to children’s individual needs, and we are seeking an exceptional Office Administrator to work as part of our busy team. Our school is part of the Bellevue Place Education Trust (BPET), a family of high-performing primary schools across London and Berkshire. We are proud to be deemed Outstanding by Ofsted in February 2024.
This is a diverse and varied position, demanding exceptional organisational, communication and multi-tasking skills. As the first point of contact in the school, the successful candidate will provide a professional and courteous welcome to adults and pupils alike. They will be able to adapt to the many demands of the role and this will include, but is not limited to;
General reception duties, such as greeting parents and visitors, and efficiently managing parent, pupil, staff and visitor queries;
Completing the school registers;
Maintaining the school newsletter;
Providing first aid as appropriate;
Organising trips and associated payments;
Adhering to the school’s safeguarding policy and appreciation of confidentiality and GDPR requirements;
Various administrative tasks to support the wider admin and leadership teams.
The successful applicant will have a flexible and adaptable approach, along with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
Salary: £11,092 to £11,637.89 actual per annum (Scale Range 2-3 £24,427 - £25,062 FTE).
Contract: This is a permanent contract, subject to successful completion of probation.
Hours: 20 hours per week, 12pm to 4pm Monday to Friday.
