The Diocese of Ely Multi Academy Trust
is seeking to appoint a part-time
Office and Events Administrator
20 hours per week
to be worked over 3-4 days; Monday-Friday
38 weeks per year (term-time)
(FTE £26,800 - £28,600 per year, approx. £12,840 – £13,700 pro-rata)
Hybrid working – 2 days in Ely Office plus remote working with occasional travel to our schools and external venues to support with events

The Diocese of Ely Multi-Academy Trust are seeking a personable, highly organised and meticulous Office and Events Administrator to join our friendly and supportive team.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting with various administrative tasks, as well as providing exceptional support with events.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:
Experience in an administrative role
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritise tasks effectively
Proficiency in computerised systems, including Outlook and /or Google
Excellent phone etiquette with strong verbal and written communication skills
Effective communication and customer service skills
The ability to work independently as well as part of a team
A high level of attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work
A ‘can-do’ attitude and the ability to use initiative
A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people
About Role
This role is a key position in supporting the DEMAT Together programme of events. The programme has been designed to maximise the opportunities for children across the Trust to discover new passions, develop their talents and explore their areas of interest beyond their school walls.
Creating opportunities for us to come together as a Trust is an intrinsically important part of the DEMAT Together programme. We aspire to use our events to strengthen the family ethos of our Trust, build a legacy of proud traditions and create long lasting special memories for our children. Some of the planned events for 2025 include an annual Trust-wide Carol service, impossible questions lecture series, football tournament and a celebration of art.
