37 Hours a week

40 Weeks per year (Term time + 10 days)

The CPTSH is seeking a new training co-ordinator to support all aspects of our training programmes. Reporting to the Hub Lead, you will support the seamless recruitment, delivery, attendance monitoring and evaluation of our professional development programmes on a large scale.

About The Cambridgeshire & Peterborough Teaching School Hub (CPTSH)

CPTSH sits within the Meridian Trust, serving the 362 schools (including early years, primary, secondary alternative provisions and special), in our designated area.

We are part of a network of 87 hubs across the country for teacher training and leadership development set up September 2021.

We are a small team that organise and co-ordinate the delivery of training for teachers throughout their careers: from training as a teacher to more experienced senior leaders.

Our main areas of activity are Initial Teacher Training (ITT), Early Career Teacher Training Programme (ECTP), leadership National Professional Qualifications (NPQ) and supporting DfE approved CPD providers.

Below are some details about our day to day work:

We are focused on developing teachers so therefore this post would not be involved in the day to day operations of the school (not student or family facing). We have an office in the school.

Most of our day to day tasks are online, over the phone or supporting live face to face events around the county.

The ideal person for this role would be customer focused, strong willingness to learn, with an ability to prioritise across tasks and flexibility.

Your work will mainly be within CPTSH area. Our head office is at Swavesey Village College, Swavesey. Some work is done in locations across Cambridgeshire and Peterborough to support events. Cambridgeshire & Peterborough Teaching School Hub - Home (cptshn.co.uk)

The Opportunity

To co-ordinate the training programmes and events provided by the hub. Inclusive of supporting with recruitment, delivery and evaluation reporting.

Support with the delivery of Hub events including producing information for participants, producing resource packs, organising training facilities.

To assist with development, design, and distribution of marketing materials across multiple mediums related to the Hub.

Coordinating the Teaching School Hub diary and maintaining an accurate contact database in line with GDPR legislation.

The ideal candidate

Five GCSEs including English and Mathematics at Grade C or above (or equivalent)

Working in a busy environment with competing deadlines

Digitally literate. Especially word processing, Excel, Customer Relationship management systems and design tools.

High personal standards in terms of attendance, punctuality and organising workload

Willingness to learn.
