Office & Compliance Manager job summary
Are you an experienced Manager with a passion for operational excellence and compliance? Rowan Gate Primary School is seeking an Office & Compliance Manager to support the School Business Manager in leading and managing our administrative and premises teams across multiple sites. This is a pivotal role ensuring our school runs smoothly, safely, and efficiently.
About the Role
As Office & Compliance Manager, under the direction of the School Business Manager you will:
- Oversee office operations and ensure high-quality administrative support.
- Manage premises and facilities, ensuring health & safety compliance.
- Monitor statutory compliance including GDPR and safeguarding.
- Drive continuous improvement and modernisation of systems and processes.
- Lead and develop staff, fostering a culture of professionalism and operational excellence.
What We’re Looking For
- Degree or equivalent in business or facilities management.
- Proven experience managing administrative and premises teams.
- Strong knowledge of compliance frameworks (GDPR, Health & Safety, safeguarding).
- Excellent organisational, communication, and leadership skills.
Proficiency in MS365 and office systems.

This role is a permanent, part time position working 37 hours per week for 42 weeks per year (38 weeks term time, 1 week training days and a further 3 weeks to work within the School holidays).

Alternatively, we are holding a recruitment event on Tuesday 20th January 2026 between 3:30pm & 5pm at our Hayway, Rushden site, where you will be able to speak to the School Business Manager about the role - no appointment is necessary.
The successful candidate will be appointed to work on one of our sites, however there may be the requirement to amend the allocated site depending on the needs of the School. Staff may be required to travel between sites on occasion.
