Office Manager job summary

The Office Manager plays a pivotal role within Student Services, leading a team of administrative and student support staff to ensure the smooth and efficient running of key Academy operations. This is a varied and fast-paced role, requiring strong organisational, leadership and communication skills to deliver high-quality support to students, staff, parents and external agencies.

The successful candidate will oversee the day-to-day management of student services, including administration, attendance, and first aid provision, ensuring that systems, processes and records are accurate, compliant and effective. They will work closely with College Leaders, providing dedicated administrative and PA support, while also acting as a key point of contact for students and families.

In addition, the role involves managing workflows, developing staff, coordinating resources and driving continuous improvement across office systems and procedures. The Office Manager will also contribute to safeguarding, student welfare and the wider life of the Academy, helping to maintain a professional, welcoming and supportive environment for all.
