Office Manager and PA to the Headteacher job summary
As the Office Manager and Personal Assistant to the Headteacher, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the school’s administrative operations while providing high-level support to the Headteacher. This role is ideal for someone who is highly organised, discreet, and confident in managing both people and priorities in a fast-paced educational environment.
You will lead the school’s administrative team, overseeing day-to-day office functions including pupil records, attendance, communications, and compliance. In your PA capacity, you will manage the Headteacher’s diary, coordinate meetings, prepare documentation, and act as a key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders.
Your responsibilities will maintaining confidentiality, and ensuring that all administrative systems are efficient and aligned with school policies. You’ll be expected to demonstrate excellent communication skills, sound judgement, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
This is a dynamic and rewarding role that combines operational leadership with executive support, making a significant contribution to the effectiveness of the school and the success of its leadership team.
The successful candidate will work under the direct supervision of the Headteacher to assist with the running and organisation of the school. The school is looking for candidates who are:
