We are looking for an Office Manager to join our team here at Purple Oaks Academy!

Purple Oaks Academy, an all-through special free school for autistic students who have severe learning difficulties (SLD) and Speech, Language and Communication Needs (SLCN) in a purpose built building. You will drive high quality school support to ensure our school runs smoothly, efficiently and effectively

We’re looking for an exceptional administrator who is:

highly skilled with a strong working knowledge of standard IT packages and has the ability to find solutions to problems, whilst working under pressure

proactive and positive with a clear capacity and desire to work well with colleagues

able to provide confidential, efficient and effective administration support for the Academy

able to prioritise and manage own workload and co-ordinate the work of others to meet deadlines

able to contribute to the organisation and academy improvement to ensure a high level of performance in support functions across the Academy

an effective leader who encourages innovation and confidence and builds a positive culture amongst their team

able to build positive relationships with staff, students and families alike

able to demonstrate the values that underpin our approach to supporting students 

About us:

Our purpose built building opened in January 2018 and provides 100 places for students (3-18) with a diagnosis of autism and/or Severe Learning Difficulties. The academy is very popular and currently has 122 students on roll from Reception to Year 13. Our students have a complex range of needs and cover a full breadth of academic ability. We teach our students in small classes of 8-10 students with high levels of adult support

About us:

Our purpose-built building opened in January 2018 and will provide 100 places for students (3-18) with a diagnosis of autism and/or Severe Learning Difficulties. The Academy currently has 94 students on roll from Reception to Year 10 and will grow to 100 in September 2021 with Reception to Year 11.
