Essential

• Educated to A’ Level standard in relevant subject

• Ability to be an excellent classroom practitioner

• Understanding of health and safety issues and good practice

• Strong organisational and personal management skills

• Effective planning and teaching

• Effective behaviour management

• An ability to demand high standards

• Work independently and be a team player

• An ability to develop good working relationships with students and staff

• Effective time-management

• The ability to meet deadlines

• Good ICT skills

Desirable

• PGCE/Cert Ed

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

• Previous experience of working with young people

• Experience of delivering similar courses
