What skills and experience we're looking for

Are you a passionate and experienced safeguarding professional ready to make a meaningful impact in a specialist education setting? Pencalenick School is seeking an Operational Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) to take the lead in ensuring the highest standards of safeguarding and child protection for our pupils with communication and interaction needs. You will play a central role in building and sustaining a safeguarding culture that is proactive, reflective, and rooted in the specific contextual needs of our learners.

Pencalenick School is a vibrant and progressive SEN school based in Cornwall providing high quality education and support for pupils aged 11-16 with complex learning difficulties and disabilities. Pencalenick School also has the benefit of four outreach Area Resource Bases (ARBs) which are based within mainstream schools at Budehaven, Brannel, Falmouth and Mount Charles. Two of our ARBs offer primary provision and two offer secondary provision.
