We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Operations Administrator to join our dedicated school team. This is a key role at the heart of our daily operations, providing high‑quality administrative and organisational support that helps our school run smoothly and efficiently.
This role would suit a self-motivated individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment, demonstrates exceptional commitment, and can be relied upon to follow through on commitments and deliver outcomes to a high standard.
You will respond to support requests within agreed timeframes, analyse data, and produce accurate reports that inform decision‑making. Your responsibilities will include processing routine forms and returns, liaising professionally with parents, students, staff and external agencies, and supporting the organisation of meetings, visits and events. You’ll also contribute to the development of effective administrative systems, undertake a range of IT‑based tasks, and support HR administration as required.
Confidentiality, attention to detail and excellent communication skills are essential. You’ll be confident using advanced IT packages, able to prioritise a varied workload, and committed to delivering a high standard of service.
You will also support reception duties, assist with the operation of our management information system.
This role requires supporting school events after 3:00pm such as parents’ evenings, proms and other activities. The job holder will be expected to undertake first aid training and MIDAS training.

The Department
The Operations Department is the backbone of the school, ensuring that every aspect of daily life runs efficiently and smoothly. Comprising seven dedicated professionals, the team brings together a diverse range of skills and responsibilities that support both staff and students. At the front line, reception provides a warm, professional welcome to visitors, parents and students, maintaining clear communication and a safe, organised environment. Finance oversees budgets, payments and procurement, ensuring resources are managed responsibly and effectively. Parental communications keep families informed and engaged, strengthening the vital link between home and school. Student wellbeing and medication support ensure that every child’s health and safety needs are met with care and confidentiality. Reprographics delivers high‑quality materials that enhance teaching and learning, while HR manages recruitment, staff records and compliance with professionalism and precision. The department also coordinates school events and reporting, bringing together people and information to celebrate achievements and maintain accountability. Together, this cohesive team works collaboratively to uphold the school’s values, providing exceptional administrative and operational support that enables teachers to focus on education and students to thrive.
