Operations Director job summary

We are seeking to appoint an Operations Director to join our central support team in fulfilment of our vision to achieve Excellence through collaboration.

The post holder will have overall responsibility for the commissioning, provision and quality assurance of a range of construction, engineering and support services to the Trust including premises, catering, lettings, transport and health and safety; with financial responsibility overseeing the operations budget and the commissioning of all operations service contracts in accordance with the Academy Trust Handbook and the Trust’s Financial Handbook.

The successful candidate will have relevant professional qualifications relating to building compliance, engineering, facilities management; experience in the safe management of educational buildings/ facilities; demonstrable evidence of developing and growing additional income streams; demonstrable evidence of instigating and maintaining regulatory compliance in respect of operations / estate management and excellent leadership skills to work with the Operations Manager, who has day to day operational responsibilities including the management and deployment of Site staff at our schools.
