About the role:
We are looking to recruit an experienced Operations Manager to support the continued success of the school. WE are looking for an individual who understands the needs of a large school and who is committed to providing an excellent comprehensive service to ensure the smooth running of the school operations and facilities, which underpin the smooth running of the school. The successful candidate will provide the strategic and operational leadership required relating to facilities, IT & ICT, community usage, catering, cleaning and various other operational based aspects.
They will develop, lead and manage operational staff ensuring that the resources and systems of the academy are deployed effectively and efficiently to achieve the educational aims of the academy.
They will liaise with the school’s senior leaders, Ark Central and other academies within the Ark network, to develop high quality systems and services throughout the network, offering support where required.
The ideal candidate will:
- Have a background infacilities management and a basic understanding of mechanical and electrical building components.
- Have a proven track record of leading a team with a ‘can-do’ attitude and the ability to prioritise tasks
- Be committed to providing a high quality service to all stake holders
- Be an experienced operator of Health & Safety Regulations in a similar environment
- Be able to demonstrate proven experience of working with students under 18
- Be committed to Ark’s ethos of high expectations and no excuses and the belief that every child can succeed.
