Operations Manager job summary
Longsands Academy has an exciting opportunity for an experienced, motivated and proactive Operations Manager to join their welcoming team.
Supported by a team of operational support colleagues, both on site and across central teams, the Operations Manager is responsible for leading and overseeing all HR, Estates and Finance related activity on behalf of the school. Line managed by the Regional Operations Manager, and working closely with the Senior Leadership Team, the Operations Manager is pivotal in ensuring all school operations supporting the delivery of a brilliant education for all students.

- Can work autonomously, prioritise conflicting demands whilst managing a diverse and demanding workload
- Is highly organised, with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate with a wide range of contacts effectively and professionally
- Is proactive and flexible and approaches challenges pragmatically to ensure the best outcome for students, families and the wider academy team
- Has meticulous attention to detail, and can utilise systems and data to find the best way to successfully support projects and tasks.
