Are you a highly organised and proactive professional who thrives in a busy school environment? We are seeking an Operations Officer to play a key role in supporting the smooth day-to-day running of our Academy. This rewarding position sits at the heart of school operations, ensuring efficient processes, effective coordination, and high-quality support for staff, students, and visitors.

Working as part of a collaborative and dedicated team, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful contribution to the success of the Academy. About You

  • Level 2 ( GCSE A*-C) or equivalent in English and Maths
  • Business Admin/equivalent qualification or recent high level office experience
  • Experience in a busy general office environment
  • Supervisory experience
  • Experience coordinating/managing wider functions
  • Understanding of education preferably primary
  • Ability to prioritise and work under pressure at key times
  • Able to produce reports from systems.
  • Confidence in using IT systems and software relevant to the role.
  • A commitment to safeguarding and supporting the wellbeing of pupils.

Southery Academy is a small rural primary school in Norfolk. Our maximum capacity is currently 96 students and we have 4 classes. We are well established in the community with most students living in the village. We now offer wraparound care between 7.35am and 5.30pm, as well as being part of the government's free breakfast provision for all students.
