Out of School Club Assistant job summary

Position Details:
Contract Type: Permanent
Start Date: 20 April 2026
Hours: 12 hours per week, term time only
Working Pattern: Monday-Thursday 3:30pm-6:00pm, Friday 3:30pm-5:30pm
Grade: 3
FTE Salary: £24,796 (Hourly Rate: £12.85)
Salary will be paid pro rata.

Key Responsibilities:
Support children through planned play and developmental activities.
Promote independence, positive interactions and social skills.
Assist with personal care and hygiene routines.
Maintain a nurturing environment.
Liaise with parents and carers.
Prepare snacks and maintain clean club spaces.
Support record-keeping and safeguarding requirements.
