Outdoor Learning & Environmental Education Lead job summary
Salary: £16.37 per hour + 12.07% holiday Pay
Teaching & Learning Hours: 9 hours per week, days TBC
The role involves leading Forest School lessons for Reception and Year 1 students, developing the outdoor areas, and integrating National Curriculum objectives into outdoor learning. Key responsibilities include managing risk assessments, ensuring high safety standards, and documenting student progression. The ideal candidate will have practical experience in Forest School/Bush Craft, knowledge of sustainable woodland management, and the ability to work independently while fostering a caring environment for students.
Candidates should be enthusiastic individuals who enjoy working alone and can show initiative as well as the ability to work well in a team. As an important part of our staff team you should be comfortable interacting and engaging with small children. Should you wish to be part of our future we welcome your application.
