PA to Governors (part-time, term-time only) job summary

We are seeking to recruit a PA to Governors to provide effective administrative support to the governing body and its committees; and to manage information effectively in accordance with legal requirements.

Full training will be given, and full support from the United Learning Governance Team.

This position involves attending the school for meetings and also working flexibly from home. You will need to attend a range of meetings during the course of the school year. These include at least 21 meetings a year which are usually held from 3.30pm – 5.30pm. Much of the administrative function can be completed using Microsoft Teams and email, either at the school or remotely. Dates of these meetings are set in advance for the academic year.

The successful candidate will have a proven high standard of communication along with excellent ICT and organisational skills. Confidentiality is essential, as is the ability to be flexible and to work on your own initiative.
