What skills and experience we're looking for

Parent Support Advisor / Administration Assistant. We are keen to accommodate the best candidates who will make an impact on our school. Applicants with school experience are encouraged to apply, although other candidates with aptitude and competence will be considered.

The successful candidate will:

  • Be happy to support the Catholic ethos of our school
  • Have knowledge and experience of safeguarding procedures.
  • Be committed to working within established school procedures, policies and approved methods.
  • Contact and build relationships with parents, carers and families.
  • Establish useful links with local agencies that work with families and provide advice and guidance to parents on parenting / child issues.
  • Have excellent organisational and communication skills with a friendly and welcoming manner.
  • Be IT literate and confident in using Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Be dynamic, resilient and hard working with a positive nature.
  • Be able to work as part of a team and establish positive relationships with pupils, parents, governors and staff.
  • Have a reflective and evaluative approach to their practice.
