Job description
Beckfoot Trust is seeking to appoint an outstanding Parental Engagement Worker with a proven track record and previous experience of working with secondary school students, their families and the community.
Essential educational requirements
GCSE (A-C) English and Maths or equivalent e.g. Adult Literacy/Numeracy at level 4
Essential qualifications
An appropriate social care qualification equivalent to at least NVQ level 3
Essential skills and experience
Knowledge and experience of direct work with families who have complex needs
Experience of working in culturally diverse communities
Experience of working with people in their homes
Experience of inter-agency working and an ability to work with other professionals.
