Part-time (0.6) KS2 Teacher- currently Y3 (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday) job summary

We are looking to appoint a part-time Key Stage 2/currently Year 3 teacher to join our warm, welcoming and successful school working as part of a job share over 3 days per week.

The contract will begin on 1st January 2023 but the actual working start date is Monday 9th January 2023, working Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays each week.

We welcome applicants from all stages of their career development from ECT upwards. For ECTs, we have a comprehensive package with Potentia and a nominated mentor in school to support. For more experienced teachers, we can offer opportunities to develop subject leadership skills or the opportunity to gain one of the qualifications through NPQL.

The successful candidate will demonstrate a love of teaching, be an outstanding classroom practitioner and be committed to the school’s ethos of high expectations, high standards, teamwork, creativity and positive relationships. You should also be a nurturing teacher as well as someone who is willing and eager to join in the wide range of enrichment activities that we offer our pupils. Applicants being invited to interview will be informed on Monday 17th October and interviews are expected to take place on Friday 21st October 2022.
