Part-time After School Club Extended Schools Assistant job summary

Working pattern: 3.15pm - 4.30pm Monday to Friday term time only (6.25 hours per week with occasional additional hours available)

Salary:  Grade 3 (SCP 3) Hourly rate-  £10.98

Contract term: Fixed term (until 31/08/24 in the first instance)

We are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic childcare practitioner to care for the children attending Morville School’s well established after-school club.

Do you:

·         have good interpersonal and communication skills;

·         enjoy working with children from Reception to Year 6;

·         show initiative and have lots of energy and patience;

·         have high expectations, together with a caring attitude and flexibility;

·         know how to provide children with a safe and secure environment;

·         have the ability to work within a team and a positive, hardworking attitude;

·         have a commitment to inclusion and equality and to providing children with a high quality and enjoyable experience;

·        have experience in delivering childcare activities.
