What skills and experience we're looking for

At Burwell Village College we believe that every child has the ability to succeed if we give them the right opportunities. We have recently rewritten our curriculum to reflect the highest standards in all curriculum areas. We are looking for a teacher with experience of teaching and leading computing in a primary school. We have a scheme of work in place and have a great range of ICT equipment including new laptops and Ipads to support learning.

The role includes teaching computing to key stage 2 pupils on Fridays and dedicated time to develop the curriculum across the school, including researching apps and programs that can support the delivery of computing and enhance the wider curriculum. The role would suit someone who has a passion for ensuring that primary pupils are computer literate and has good knowledge of the primary computing curriculum.

The children here are well-behaved, hard-working and eager to learn. The facilities are fantastic with space and equipment readily available. Parents are keen to support the school and are positive about the improvements already being made.

If you have the knowledge and skills we are looking for then we would be really keen to hear from you.

Start Date: Monday 5th June (or as soon as possible thereafter)
