Eskdale School is a successful, popular and growing 11-16 community school situated in Whitby on the North Yorkshire Coast. As a school we have teachers and support staff that from travel from areas such as Redcar, Guisborough, and Ryedale, as well as from Scarborough and Filey.

Our opportunity

We have what we believe to be a rare opportunity. As a result of our current Drama and Dance teacher moving to a deserved new role, we are looking to recruit a teaching colleague to join us in the excellent Creatives Faculty.

• To teach Drama at KS4 and 5
• To teach Dance at KS4 and opportunities to develop this area at KS3.
• To teach Art at KS4
• To work alongside our other Creative teachers
• To deliver extra-curricular opportunities
• To take part in community performing arts events.

As our new Drama teacher you will join the highly skilled Drama department where students achieve excellent results

In what we believe to be an outstanding opportunity, we are looking to appoint a specialist Teacher of Drama to join our successful faculty. You would join a Drama faculty which is staffed with Drama specialists who continue to build year on year in terms of outcomes, curriculum and extracurricular options to our students. A key focus for the department is to build on the strengths and successes, and as our new teacher, you will work closely with the team who will support, develop and challenge you.

As a new teacher, we will invest in your future development as a teaching professional through our ‘Teaching Programme’. We are looking for someone who can grow and further develop into being a highly effective teacher, as well as someone who has the drive and ambition to make sure our students achieve their very best.
