What skills and experience we're looking for
Freebrough Academy is seeking to appoint a passionate and dedicated Teacher of Geography to join our thriving Humanities faculty from 1st September 2026 to cover maternity leave. This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic practitioner to inspire students across KS3 & KS4, fostering a love of geography and a deep understanding of the world around them.
The successful candidate will deliver high quality, engaging lessons that challenge and support students of all abilities and will have a strong subject knowledge of Geography. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent classroom practice and behaviour management, be committed to raising achievement and maintaining high expectations for all learners and be a collaborative team member with strong communication skills.
