Are you passionate about empowering Deaf students to thrive in an inclusive educational environment? If so, we have the perfect opportunity for you! Join our dynamic team as a Communication Support Worker in our Deaf Resources Base and make a real impact on the lives of Deaf learners.

Brimsdown Primary School is a happy, vibrant, inclusive school, set in beautiful grounds where children can develop into independent learners. We have an additional Deaf Resource Base, DRB, for the hearing impaired and are proud to teach our all of our children British Sign Language.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Be fluent in British Sign Language (BSL), Level 2 or above with the willingness to advance to higher levels.

  • Have the resolve and enthusiasm to make a real difference to the lives of pupils

  • Be innovative, solutions-focussed and resilient

The successful applicant will join an experienced, dedicated and supportive team in a school that promotes staff wellbeing, staff development and a nurturing approach to supporting children’s development.
