Contract Term: Fixed Term until 31st August 2027 due to EHCP funding
Hours: 16.25 per week - mornings
Grade: STC Grade 3 - NJC Points 8-11 starting salary £10,246 per annum (£27,709 FTE)
Weeks per annum: 38

Are you ready to make a difference to individual lives, supporting learning and community? We are looking for an individual to work in our amazing school.
As a Teaching Assistant for Ladysmith Junior School in Exeter, you will work under the guidance of teaching staff with an agreed system of supervision, to implement work/care/support programmes in or out of the classroom to enable access to learning for pupils and assist the teachers in the management of pupils.
Ladysmith Junior School is part of the St Christopher’s Trust - a family of 21 Church and Community Schools spanning three local authorities and providing a rich network of collaboration. We are looking for someone who can demonstrate a calm and patient demeanour, who is committed to helping young people achieve their full potential. You will have had previous experience in working with children in a similar setting and be able to effectively communicate with adults and children alike.
