- Experience of teaching a Reception Class
- Ability to achieve the highest standards of all pupils
- Knowledge of strategies to raise pupil achievement and attainment
- Strong and consistent behaviour management that creates clear boundaries and a safe learning space for all
- Ability to identify barriers to learning and utilize strategies to overcome them;
- Ability to establish respectful, caring relationships with children
- Evidence of CPD and impact on own practice
- Ability to adapt teaching to meet the needs of SEND children

Hours: 2.5 days per week (to include PPA of 10% non - contact time)
Contract type: part time, fixed-term, 1 year contract initially
Reporting to: the Head Teacher

Coldfall Primary School is an outstanding primary school based in Haringey, North London. We serve a diverse community of 680 pupils, aged 3-11 years. Coldfall puts its children at the heart of everything we do. We are looking for a vocational teacher who can work in partnership with an experienced professional to motivate and inspire children, have high aspirations for them and to bring creativity, humour and enjoyment into all areas of school life.
This part time role is an unrivalled opportunity for the successful candidate to receive the very best bespoke support and mentoring. The Class Teacher responsibilities will be shared with our EYFS Lead who has extensive experience in the Foundation Stage as well as in training teachers.
The successful candidate will:
- Have excellent interpersonal skills with pupils, staff, parents and carers.
- Plan and deliver exciting lessons.
- Be dedicated to raising standards for all children.
