We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, efficient, friendly and reliable person to join our Administration team at Northgate High School and Dereham Sixth Form College. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a vibrant environment and be part of a team providing a comprehensive high-level administration support service across the academy.
You will provide cover to the main reception greeting all visitors to the School/College with a friendly efficient reception service ensuring all relevant safeguarding checks are made. You should be well presented with excellent interpersonal skills and have a good telephone manner.
The successful candidate will be able to deal sensitively with a range of student enquiries, liaise with parents and outside agencies and provide first aid support as required (experience would be an advantage but enthusiasm and willing to undertake first aid training is essential). Applicants will have strong administration experience and an up-to-date and practical knowledge of current IT packages, a high level of organisational skills, a keen eye for detail and outstanding interpersonal skills with both students and adults. A good sense of humour and the ability to work as part of a team is essential. Experience of working within a busy reception environment would be an advantage.
