  • Part-time teacher to form part of a job-share, likely to be based in KS2. 0.4 (2 days) teaching commitment class-based, Thursday and Friday 0.2 (1 day) SENDCo/Inclusion, to include 1 hour weekly PPA allowance, on Wednesdays. The postholder will be required to stay for staff meetings after school each Wednesday.

TMS 3 £30721 or TMS 4 £32701 subject to experience. This will be pro-rata. Boughton Primary Academy Trust does not offer pay portability.

Additional allowances

Additional £2384 SEN allowance.

You will:

  • Have a strong pedagogy in primary education and thorough knowledge of the National Curriculum

  • Have a love of reading and teaching children to read
  • Have the necessary attributes of a strong and passionate leader, who is committed to providing the highest outcomes and standard of provision for pupils with SEND.
  • Have the requisite communication skills to liaise with parents, staff and external agencies.
  • Have the ability to support and oversee the work of teachers and teaching assistants in ensuring the inclusion of all learners.

Evidence of success in supporting every pupil to reach their potential and a belief that everyone can do so is essential for this role. The successful candidate will work alongside the Head Teacher initially, to develop the school’s inclusion systems and practices.

Tours of the school
