Part time Year 5/6 Teacher (Maternity Cover) job summary
Would you like to work in a small rural primary school on the outskirts of Norwich? Although small in size we have high expectations and truly go ‘Above and Beyond for our children.
We are seeking to appoint a conscientious, enthusiastic and experienced part time (four days) Year 5/6 teacher from January 2026 until the end of the academic year. We need someone who will be able to motivate and inspire our children and will possess the skills and determination to secure the best possible outcomes for each individual.
We are looking for a teacher who:
- is a reflective, inspiring and innovative practitioner
- is passionate about children’s learning
- has high expectations of themselves and of our children
- has knowledge and understanding of planning, delivering and assessing the national curriculum
- experience of leading curriculum subjects
- shares our commitment to an inclusive environment which enables all children to succeed
- is committed to working in partnership with parents and carers
- is able to work effectively and collaboratively
- previous experience of working in a job share is desirable
