Part Time Year 6 Teaching Assistant Level 2 job summary

Due to an increase in funding, we are seeking to appoint a part-time teaching assistant to support teaching and learning in Year 6,

for 3 days per week, 8.30am-4pm. This role will compromise of supporting whole class teaching, small group activities and working

with specific children to support with secondary school transition. Please note that the 3 working days are negotiable .

We require a caring, committed individual who has the ability to work as part of the school team and inspire trust and confidence in

children.

We are looking for teaching assistants with experience who:

Can demonstrate outstanding classroom practice

Has high expectations of children, behaviour and personal development

Has a passion for supporting the needs of all children

Has a positive outlook and loves developing children's learning
