The Role
We are seeking a dedicated and organised Pastoral Admin Officer to provide vital administrative support to our pastoral team. This is a key role in ensuring the smooth running of our pastoral systems and helping to maintain our strong culture of care and inclusion.
You will:
- Provide administrative support across the pastoral and safeguarding teams.
- Liaise with parents, staff, and external agencies, ensuring excellent communication and confidentiality.
- Manage exclusion and safeguarding documentation, SEND reviews, and CYPS referrals.
- Support the coordination of admissions, student welfare, and pastoral communications.
- Help ensure our students feel supported, safe, and valued every day.
This is a role where your organisational skills, compassion, and calm professionalism will make a real difference to the lives of young people.
About You
We’re looking for someone who:
- Has strong administrative and IT skills (experience with SIMS/CPOMS is an advantage).
- Can communicate sensitively and effectively with staff, students, and families.
- Thrives in a busy environment and enjoys being part of a supportive team.
- Understands the importance of confidentiality and safeguarding.
- Is flexible, proactive, and passionate about helping students succeed.
Experience in a school or similar environment would be an advantage, but it’s your attitude, commitment, and attention to detail that will make you stand out.
