Pastoral and Family Liaison Officer

Position- Permanent

Pay Scale F £25,979 to £27,803 Pro Rata

Required for - 37 hours per week, 39 weeks per year

You will:

 - Have excellent communication skills

- Be able to work individually and as part of a team

- Have experience of working with children and families with social and emotional difficulties by offering individual strategies to address the issues

- Have experience of successfully carrying out pastoral support interventions and programmes

- Have experience in referring families/children to relevant support agencies (non essential as training will be provided)

- Have experience of liaising with Social Care and other support agencies.

- Have experience of Designated Safeguarding Lead role (non essential as training will be provided)

Qualifications


- Ability to demonstrate a reasonable standard of education with proficiency in literacy and numeracy to GCSE level or equivalent.

- A relevant qualification such as NVQ Level 3 or higher or a minimum three years’ relevant satisfactory experience as a PFLO or similar demonstrating the relevant skill level.

- Successful completion of DBS forms and satisfactory clearance being received.

- Successful completion of school Induction Training for PFLO
