What skills and experience we're looking for

What are we looking for? Someone who has:

• At least 2 years' experience as a Teaching Assistant

• Experience of working with children with a range of social, emotional and wellbeing needs

• Child-centred vision with excellent listening and communication skills

• Experience of working closely with parents and building trust

• Adaptability, empathy and a ‘can-do’ attitude

• Knowledge and understanding of the pastoral needs of students with additional needs

• Effective problem solving and conflict resolution skills

• Passion for improving outcomes for children and their families

The Manor Drive Primary Academy is a new school in the north of Peterborough, Cambridgeshire. The school welcomed the first cohort of Reception children in September 2022 and we continue to grow year on year. At Manor Drive Primary Academy we pride ourselves on having a strong wellbeing ethos whilst ensuring our children are the focus of everything we do. Our values of ‘Work Hard, Be Kind and Be Brave” are embedded in our teaching strategies and the expectations we have for staff and pupils.
