Chandag Primary School is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Pastoral Lead to join our inclusion team and make a real difference in the lives of our pupils and families. This is an exciting opportunity to work as part of an established inclusion team part of a supportive and ambitious team who are committed to helping every child reach their full potential.
As our Pastoral Lead, you will play a key role in promoting the social, emotional, and mental health of our pupils. You will work closely with families to provide guidance and support, ensuring every child feels safe, valued, and ready to learn.

About You
We’re looking for someone who:
- Has experience in pastoral care within a school setting.
- Is a qualified Thrive Practitioner or has equivalent experience.
- Understands safeguarding procedures and can confidently act as a deputy designated safeguarding lead or is willing to train in this area
- Is committed to improving attendance and supporting families.
- Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a genuine passion for helping children succeed.
- Builds positive relationships and works well in a team
- Shares our belief that every child deserves the very best opportunities

Commitment to safeguarding
Your suitability to work with children and young people will form part of the selection process. For this post, prior to appointment Futura Learning Partnership will apply for a satisfactory enhanced Disclosure and Barring check, a Children’s Barred list check, two satisfactory references, satisfactory pre-employment health screening and for Teachers, a Prohibition Check in relation to the children’s workforce.
