Kineton Green Primary School is a one form entry school in Solihull. We are a good school (Ofsted January 2020). We take great pride in developing a caring, creative and safe environment for our learners and we are passionate about providing a rich and varied curriculum that inspires curiosity and enquiry.

We are currently seeking to recruit an enthusiastic, dedicated and hardworking Pastoral Lead to join our team at Kineton Green Primary School. Applicants should be educated to level 4 or above in English and Maths. You should have experience working with families and working with key statutory and non-statutory stakeholders. Experience of working in a school setting and school attendance systems is desirable.

The successful applicant will provide support to families who are experiencing challenging situations/circumstances that are having an impact on family and school life. They will be working alongside school staff to offer support and signpost families to appropriate services, facilitating improved access to specialist services including supporting and attending LAC meetings. They will be trained as a Deputy DSL and appropriately act upon any safeguarding issues and report to the school DSL. The successful applicant will also lead on attendance within the school. This will involve analysing attendance, investigating pupil absences, attending any Spotlight meetings with parents and working with the Educational Welfare Officer. They will also be part of the Inclusion Team and attend weekly inclusion meetings to discuss vulnerable pupils/families.
