The Trustees at Victorious Academies Trust would like to appoint a Pastoral Lead at Wild Bank Community School, Demesne Drive, Stalybridge, SK15 2PG.

Our Trust’s vision is to support young people to develop the aspiration, motivation and to be successful; we have high ambitions for all young people in our academies and all roles at our academy are central to ensuring that we work to support this.

Wild Bank is a one form entry school with 31 staff and 146 pupils aged between 3 and 11. Wild Bank’s school motto is ‘Working together we can achieve our best’.

Pastoral Lead full-time Salary £30,060-£32,654

The role is permanent, part-time 30 hours per week, Term Time Only

With an actual salary - £21,437-£23,286 (Grade F Point 17-22).

The hours are:

Monday to Friday 8:30am to 3:30pm (with 1 hour lunch)

We are a small one-form entry school with delightful children and dedicated and friendly staff. The pastoral lead role is one which involves being the attendance lead, deputy safeguarding lead and will have close liaison with parents, children, outside agencies and other members of school staff. We require a person who is an excellent communicator, and is able to ensure the enhancement of the wellbeing and emotional health of our children and families. Experience in this area of work is desirable.

The proposed timescale for the selection and interview process is as follows:
