What skills and experience we're looking for

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide proactive support for students’ emotional, social, and mental wellbeing, ensuring a safe and inclusive environment where all pupils feel valued and supported.
  • Monitor student behaviour, attendance, and punctuality, implementing strategies and interventions to promote positive conduct and address concerns effectively.
  • Build strong relationships with parents and carers, maintaining regular communication and involving them in strategies to support student progress and wellbeing.
  • Work closely with teaching staff, senior leaders, and external professionals to support individual student needs and contribute to whole-school pastoral strategies
  • Safeguard and promote the welfare of children and young people and follow school and Trust policies including the staff code of conduct.
