Pastoral Manager job summary

We are seeking to recruit a flexible, enthusiastic and highly committed person to be responsible for providing pastoral support for the children in our friendly and caring school. We are an averaged sized primary school in Aigburth, Liverpool and require a person with relevant experience.

 

As Pastoral Manager, you will:

· Provide support for our pupils through developing and promoting inclusion, develop a 1:1 mentoring relationship with pupils, provide support and guidance to parents whose children are suffering from any issues that my impact on their emotional wellbeing and academic progress.

· Provide support for the Teacher through identifying those children who would benefit from a pastoral manager. Providing support to families whose children are at risk of becoming persistent absentees. To be able to support the curriculum and cover lessons when appropriate

· Work as part of the Safeguarding Team as a Designated Safeguarding Lead.

· The ability to build strong relationships and manage multiple tasks effectively.
