Willoughby Academy is seeking to appoint a Pastoral Manager who is enthusiastic and committed in providing high quality care and support for our pupils in their personal development, wellbeing and attendance. You will join our friendly and successful Academy where our supportive and dedicated staff are committed to delivering the best educational opportunities and outcomes for all our pupils.

As a Pastoral Manager, you will provide a vital link between families, the Academy and other partnership agencies. Acting as lead professional for TAC meetings and supporting families through the Early Help framework. You will work creatively to provide and co-ordinate a range of support to remove barriers to learning and improve outcomes for our young people. The successful candidate will train and act as a Designated Safeguarding Officer, along with addressing concerns relating to pupil attendance.

The successful candidate must have experience of supporting individuals and groups of pupils along with high levels of written and verbal communication, organisational and administrative skills. Qualifications in English and Maths GCSE grade A-C or equivalent are essential.
